Jared Higgins began his career in the Executive Protection Industry in 1995 when he joined P3 Consultants, later to become Nichols Steyn Associates, as a CPO.

Due to Jared’s drive and motivation, he was shortly thereafter promoted to a mid level management position as a Team Leader, overseeing the operations of staff teams allocated to various high-level close protection assignments. His responsibilities included CPO and client liaison, assistance with operational planning, allocation of resources and the management of his team's duties.

After again being promoted to a senior level management position within the company, Jared was then offered the position of Operations Director in 2001. As Operations Director, Jared managed and co-ordinated the operational planning and management of all close protection assignments handled by the company. In this position, Jared was responsible for over 100 full time Executive Protection Officers operating globally on 5 continents. Jared managed and implemented operational requirements offering turnkey customised security solutions to several of the world's leading Fortune 500 Corporations.

After becoming disillusioned with the general decline in service levels in the Security Sector, Jared left Nichols Steyn in 2004 to establish Arcfyre International – a specialist Executive Protection Agency with the aim of becoming the market leader in protective services, achieving excellence through professionalism, commitment and integrity. Considering Arcfyre’s unblemished track record and consistent growth over the past 4 years, this is a goal that has been achieved and continues to be maintained.

After identifying an urgent need for a professional, ethical and trustworthy armed patrol and tactical support service, Jared led the initiative to establish Platinum Risk Management (PRM), a subsidiary of Arcfyre International in 2008. PRM caters specifically to the higher echelon business executive and their families in Johannesburg’s Northern Suburbs, and offers a semi-exclusive strategic residential and commercial security solution.

Jared is driven by his passion for providing innovative and cost effective security solutions whilst unwaveringly maintaining and upholding service levels to consistently ensure the satisfaction of clients and the empowerment of his staff.
